FIrst of all, a big (belated) welcome to Mandy, our new daytime barn manger.
We look forward to having her as part of our barn family and thank her for all
the effort she's put in already!
Now on with the show...
Brrrr! When the horses come in with icicles hanging off their whiskers, you
KNOW it's cold! So to lighten your spirits, we're giving you the words to our
own little carol (sung to the tune of Jingle Bells). Enjoy!
In the morning we get up
Working before dawn
Early morning ride...
(No hoofprints on the lawn!)
Come back and untack,
Clean bridles, saddles too.
There's no slowing down
There's lots of work to do!
Oh!
Rushing here, rushing there
Shovel some more hay.
The big one's getting all of it
And the little one's in the waaaay!
Muck the stalls, patch the fence.
So many things to do.
Our day ends at a quarter past ten
So goodnight to all of you!
