The lesson horses at The Mounting Block are very special.
We try to create a balanced, safe environment for all our horses and they have responded in kind. While we don't have "bombproof" animals, we do have horses that are willing to try, willing to trust, and willing to learn.
Ground work, daily handling, and sympathetic riding has produced horses that look to humans as partners rather than burdens. We take special pride in our horses and are constantly amazed by what they do for us!
